...because the time had come for a big, refreshing chop.  Ten inches gone.

...because somebody must have really wanted to polish up.

...because the blue and gold fit January perfect.  And warmly.

...because they are festive and cheery on Kenz's Bolivian cloth.

 This dinner...

...because I made it on the fly with ingredients that were forgotten (shells, tomatoes, fresh garlic, and pesto). Mmmm.
